Small Business Funding (SBF) is a privately-held financial solutions company offering access to capital for small businesses nationwide who cannot secure funding through traditional means. Our Sales Team is growing and you may be our perfect match!
Our company, and this position, should appeal to candidates looking to start a career in either traditional finance, or the emerging field of FinTech. We source, qualify, and fund our clients solely online, and the primary role of the Funding Manager is to consult with the small business owner to see what funding options would help them the most given their specific situation. You will learn the fundamentals of small business finance and the basics of underwriting a deal. And most importantly, you will be helping America’s small business owners facilitate financing for their businesses. We truly take a consultative approach to what we do, so you must have a desire to help business owners.
Job Description:
- Speak with a variety of business owners all over the country about their business finance needs and how different types of loans can meet their goals
- Obtain documentation and information from loan applicants and to answer questions about the process
- Close and fund business deals
Attributes we are seeking in our next hire:
- Successful Phone Sales Experience
- Motivated, hard-working, and eager to earn Six Figures in their 1st year
- Confident, Aggressive and Persuasive Closer
- Ability to control the conversation, listen to and identify the customer’s pain, build rapport and trust with the customer
- Positive Attitude
- Ability to listen and learn from experienced coworkers and managers.
- Highly Organized.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Work, etc. Ability to learn new systems, such as CRMs, quickly
- An interest in the business/finance world
